Oktoberfest in Libertyville Returns for Two Days of Festive Fun on September 19 and 20

Get ready to raise your steins and celebrate! Oktoberfest in Libertyville returns to the heart of downtown Libertyville for two epic days of Bavarian fun — Friday, September 19, and Saturday, September 20 — and you don’t want to miss it.

This lively festival takes place in the back lot at Mickey Finn’s Brewery (345 N. Milwaukee Avenue), brought to you in partnership with MainStreet Libertyville, the GLMV Chamber of Commerce, and Mickey Finn’s Brewery. Expect an unforgettable weekend packed with fun, local flavor, and entertainment.

Festival Schedule:

Friday, 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM:

Kick off the weekend with live music, ice-cold brews, and authentic German food (available for purchase). Test your skills in traditional Bavarian games like Hammerschlagen or Masskrugstemmen, rock your best lederhosen or dirndl, and connect with the community in a setting that’s pure Gemütlichkeit.

Saturday, 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM – Family Garten:

Calling all families! Bring the kids to our Family Garten for an afternoon of kid-friendly fun. While the little ones enjoy engaging activities, you can relax with friends, soak in the sounds of the festival, and sip your favorite brews. (Kids get in free with the purchase of a Saturday ticket!)

Saturday, 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM:

The party continues into the evening with even more beer, entertainment, and Bavarian cheer.

Live Music and Entertainment Lineup:

• Friday, 7:00 – 10:00 PM: Alpine Thunder brings the authentic Oktoberfest soundtrack.
• Saturday, 1:30 PM: The Phenix Band keeps the afternoon grooving.
• Saturday, 5:30 PM: Alpine Horns perform.
• Saturday, 7:30 PM: Marlin & the Shakes close the fest with high-energy hits.

General Admission tickets are $25 (includes plastic stein and 1 beer ticket); VIP tickets are $50 (includes commemorative ceramic stein, 2 beer tickets, and the opportunity for an exclusive brewery tour with Mickey Finn’s brewmaster). Buy your tickets in advance; prices increase at the door: General Admission $30, VIP $55.

Tickets are available at Eventbrite – Oktoberfest in Libertyville 2025. This is a cashless event — credit cards only. Must be 21+ to attend. IDs will be checked at the gate.

Free covered parking is available at the Church Street and Lake Street garages, or skip the car and hop on the Metra Milwaukee District-North Line — the station is a short walk from the action.
