Police Blotter: Theft at X-Sport, Warrant Arrest

The following arrest information was supplied by the Libertyville Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Theft

A patron at X-Sport Fitness, 1163 S. Milwaukee Ave., reported that his backpack containing clothes, shoes and his car keys were taken from his unsecured locker on Jan. 5. His vehicle outside, which contained his wallet and cellphone, appeared undisturbed.

Disorderly Conduct

A Libertyville man has been charged with criminal trespass to land and disorderly conduct after refusing to leave an apartment area.

On Jan. 5, police responded to an apartment complex at 375 Winchester Road on a complaint of an intoxicated man attempting to enter an apartment. The victim says Steven A. Mitterer, 53, 375 W. Winchester Road, Apt. 102, Libertyville, pounded on their door, refused to leave and placed his foot in the doorway to prevent the door from shutting.

Police found Mitterer outside the apartment complex. He was charged and later released on a $120 personal recognizance bond and issued a Feb. 8 court date in Mundelein.

Warrant Arrest

Dennis J. Seilheimer, 24, was arrested at BP gas station, 113 N. Milwaukee Ave., on Jan. 6 on an active Kane County warrant for driving under the influence of drugs. Seilheimer later was released on a $5,000 bail bond and issued a March 19 court date in St. Charles.

Driving Incidents

Ian Michael Kay, 40, 1500 Lancaster St., Libertyville was charged Jan. 6 with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving under the influence of alcohol with a blood-alcohol content exceeding .08, and speeding. He later was released on a $1,000 personal recognizance bond and issued a Jan. 27 court date in Waukegan.

Tatiano M. Orellana, 27, 295 Glen St., Apt. 2 A, Grayslake, was charged Jan. 3 with driving while license suspended and speeding. She later was released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond and issued a Feb. 8 court date in Mundelein.
