Police Look For Man Who Pointed Gun At Gas Station Employee

The incident happened in the 2000 block of Shell Drive in Libertyville at about 1:20 a.m. on March 25.

LIBERTYVILLE, IL — Police in Libertyville are looking for a man accused of pointing a handgun at a gas station employee last week.

The man entered the gas station in the 2000 block of Shell Drive at about 1:20 a.m. on March 25. After spending about a half-hour in the bathroom, an employee went to check on the man, who then left the business, according to a news release from the Libertyville Police Department.

The employee told police the man then pointed a black handgun at them while leaving the parking lot in a silver sports utility vehicle with tinted windows and an unknown Wisconsin license plate.

The vehicle left, heading north on Route 45.
