The MainSweet Dessert Walk is a delicious day out for all ages! Get ready for a fun-filled afternoon of sweets, smiles, and shopping in the heart of Libertyville!
The 11th Annual MainSweet Dessert Walk is back on Saturday, August 2nd from 12–3 p.m., and it’s the perfect way for families to explore charming downtown Libertyville while enjoying mouthwatering dessert samples at every stop. This tasty tradition is held during the Festival of the Arts—making it a can't-miss summer event!
Start your sweet journey by picking up your event map at the MainStreet Libertyville tent in Cook Park beginning at 11:30 a.m. Then, starting at noon, follow the dessert trail through downtown Libertyville to sample a delightful variety of treats from some of your favorite local shops and restaurants.

Purchase tickets in advance at https://mainstreetlibertyville.org/events/libertyville/mainsweet-dessert-walk/ or call (847) 680-0336. Tickets do sell out, so don’t wait! The cost is $20 in advance, and $25 the day of the event (if tickets are available). One ticket equals one dessert sample at each location—and yes, sharing is allowed.
Getting to downtown Libertyville is a piece of cake! Free parking is available in two convenient covered garages on Lake Street and Church Street. Taking the train? The Metra Milwaukee District North Line stops right in downtown Libertyville, just steps from the fun.
