Teen Motorcyclist Dead In Hit-And-Run: Police
The 19-year-old man was killed in the hit-and-run crash in Beach Park over the weekend, authorities said.
LAKE COUNTY, IL â A 19-year-old man is dead following a hit-and-run collision that happened in Beach Park early Sunday.
The crash happened at about 5:50 a.m. at the intersection of Green Bay Road and Sallmon Avenue, according to a news release from the Lake County Sheriff's Office. When police arrived at the scene, they found a the 19-year-old man dead.
His Kawasaki sports bike had "damage consistent with being struck by another vehicle," police said. The vehicle fled the scene following the crash, according to a news release.
