Upscale Rummage Founder Recognized As 'Tireless' Leader

LIBERTYVILLE, IL — Without community leaders, Libertyville wouldn’t hum along nearly as smoothly as it does. We’d miss their contributions in big and small ways.

Patch has partnered with T-Mobile to recognize these often unsung community leaders and celebrate their contributions.

I am a volunteer for her not for profit organization.

What does this community leader do?

Founder of Upscale Rummage, a not-for-profit volunteer based resale shop.

Why do you believe the community leader should be recognized or honored?

Upscale Rummage is a volunteer based, not-for-profit resale shop that gave out greater that $120,000 in cash donations in 2022 and on pace to exceed that in 2023. Also support greater than 25 local organizations and honors many families through a voucher program, setting them up with furniture and basic needs to get their lives back on track.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the community hero?

Renee works tirelessly and without any compensation to live her mission which is to ensure Upscale Rummage supports those in need.
