Body Of Man, 32, Found In Chicago River: Police

Police and fire officials retrieved the body of a man from the Chicago River in Lincoln Park Tuesday evening.

CHICAGO — The body of a 32-year-old man was recovered from the Chicago River near Lincoln Park Tuesday evening, according to police.

Police were called to the scene near the 1700 block of West Fullerton Avenue at around 6 p.m. Tuesday after reports of a man found in the water.

Police and fire officials responded and the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officials are currently conducting a death investigation, according to a statement from Chicago police.
