Local Comedy Club Shares 'What the Tour Guide Didn't Tell You'

Curious about the talk of the town? We'll tell you with our new daily feature, "Today in Lincoln Park."

If you live in Chicago finicky weather, rowdiness at North Avenue beach and impolite Chicago Transit Authority riders likely doesn't faze you.

In fact, you've probably joked about such things. Today in Lincoln Park, we bring you the opportunity to laugh as comedians poke fun at the city you know and love with the act "What the Tour Guide Didn't Tell You" tonight at Up Comedy Club, 230 W. North Ave.

"Whether it's wholesale political corruption or a hapless ball club on the north side of town, (it's) is a great way to get a laugh filled look at the Windy City," the event's description says.

During tonight's show—doors open at 7:15 p.m. and the show starts at 8 p.m.—Second City performs 52 classic scenes that Chicagoans will surely appreciate.

Tickets are $28. Call 312-662-4562 or visit the Up Comedy Club website for more information.
