Local Drinks Make Summer's 'Must Try' Cut
Two Lincoln Park eateries are serving up special drinks that have recently gained quite a bit of attention. Read on to learn where to get the best Moscow mule or Nutella milkshake around.

If you're looking for a way to beat the heat, consider trying one of Chicago's "must-try" drinks, two of which local critics say are right here in Lincoln Park.
RedEye Chicago recently published a list of "25 Drinks Every Chicagoan Should Try" in which it identifies milkshakes, margaritas and more warm-weather drinks to sip on this summer and beyond.
Local highlights included the Nutella milkshake at Edzo's Burger Shop, 2218 N. Lincoln Ave., and the Moscow mule at one of the neighborhood's newest restaurants, Homeslice, 938 W. Webster Ave.

The milkshake will run you $4 at Edzo's and includes "generous scoops of Nutella and ice cream" blended by a "retro-cool" mixer and topped with whipped cream and a cherry.Â
Served in a Russian standard copper cup, the mule will set you back $9.Â

"Plenty of bars make a fine version of this classic vodka-lime juice-ginger beer concoction, but there’s just something about this one," the RedEye report says.Â
Other honorable area mentions included the Dulce de leche licuado at Wicker Park's Big Star, the swirl margarita at Uncle Julio's in Goose Island and the iced coffee at Bow Truss Coffee Roasters in Lake View.
