A 24-year-old North Side man is facing multiple charges, including murder, after a Sunday shooting in Goose Island, police say.
Angelo Bennett, is most recently listed as living in the 4300 block of North Ashland Avenue in Lake View, just a few blocks east of Lincoln Square and North Center's shared Ravenswood Avenue border.
Bennett was charged Thursday with one count each of first-degree murder, aggravated battery/discharge of a firearm and attempted first-degree murder.
Those charges stem from his alleged connection to a shooting on the 1000 block of North Branch Street, police said, though they declined to comment more specifically on the ongoing investigation.
A representative with Chicago Police’s News Affairs said she was unable to discuss the details of the shooting.
Bennett is scheduled to appear in bond court Friday morning.
