Police Pull Body from Belmont Harbor Monday
An adult black man was pulled from the harbor Monday morning, police say. He's the second man to die in the harbor in a month.

The body of a man was found and recovered from Belmont Harbor in nearby Lake View Monday morning, Chicago police say.
A marine diving team recovered the adult black male around 11:30 a.m. in the 3500 block of North Belmont Harbor Drive, which is the road on the east side of the harbor, Officer Jose Estrada said.

Few details were available Monday about the man or the incident as the investigation was ongoing.
This is the second person to be recovered from Belmont Harbor in the last month, with Ramon Benavidez, 32, drowning in the lake near the same spot on June 6.Â

Divers spent 20 minutes looking for Benavidez before finding him in the harbor, and he was later pronounced dead after an emergency transfer to St. Joseph’s Hospital.
