Scarecrows Commander Clark Street Starting Saturday

Lincoln Park's Halloween Spooktacular kicks off this weekend with a creative display down Clark Street.

Look out, Lincoln Park—the scarecrows are at it again.

Beginning this Saturday, Oct. 12, dozens of Clark Street merchants will display original creations in front of their business during the return of the neighborhood's Scarecrow Parade.

Not only do residents get to vote for the best one, but voters are automatically entered for a chance to win more than $800 in prizes.

It's all part of the popular, colorful, candy-filled, costume-loving and free Clark Street Spooktacular.

Scarecrows will remain on display through the end of the month, but voting will end Oct. 26, when the winning scarecrows will be announced.

The Halloween Spooktacular is organized and hosted by your friends at Clark Street in Lincoln Park, the Lincoln Park Chamber of Commerce on behalf of the Clark Street SSA #23, and participating Clark Street establishments.
