A new chicken wings restaurant recently opened in Lincoln Park and at an upcoming grand opening event, residents will get to sample the goods for free.

As part of a rapid expansion, a popular Texas-based chicken wings restaurant has opened in Lincoln Park.
Wingstop, known for tossing made-to-order wings, has landed at 2634 N. Clark St. The location joins six others that lie within Chicago's boundaries and about 570 in the nation, company representatives said Thursday.
“Chicago fans are some of the most loyal wing fanatics around and we’re excited to open a new location for guests in Lincoln Park,” said Hadi Lalani who, along with Kamran Lalani, owns and operates the restaurant. “Wingstop is huge hit with wing and sports fans in the area and this is a great opportunity ... "
With a focus on cooked-to-order chicken, the Wingstop menu features traditional and boneless wings, chicken strips and Glider sandwiches—all sauced and tossed in 10 different flavors.
The local restaurant will host a “Take 5” grand opening event Saturday, July 6, where fans receive five free wings between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. Its regular daily hours are from 11 a.m. to midnight.
