Be There and Be Square for Block by Block Art Walk

October is Chicago Artists Month and Lincoln Square is joining in!

Thursday begins the first Lincoln Square Art Walk, featuring more than 200 pieces of art from 30 artists.

The theme is “Block by Block,” and the walk will go around Western, Lincoln and Leland avenues.

Dank Haus German American Cultural Center is hosting a kick-off reception on Thursday and free parking is provided by MB Financial during non-banking hours throughout the weekend.

Artists include John Cooper, Lothar Speer, Elizabeth Steffen and many more.

Schedule:

• Thursday: 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., reception at Dank Haus German American Cultural Center, 4740 North Western Avenue
• Friday: 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
• Saturday 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
• Sunday 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
