Chamber Announces Dates for Apple Fest in Lincoln Square
From apple caramel bread putting to cider and face-painting, see what this year's festival has in store.
Although fall weather decided to come early, residents will have to wait for the neighborhood's official celebration of the turning season.
The 26th annual Apple Fest is set for Sept. 21 in Giddings Plaza.
Sponsored by the Lincoln Square Ravenswood Chamber of Commerce, the festival combines fun for both adults and children.

Craft beer—along with apple-inspired cocktails—and live entertainment will flow through Lincoln Avenue throughout the day. For the kids, local businesses will provide apple crafts and a bounce maze.

More than 40 vendors are concocting apple dishes like apple-smoked pulled pork sandwiches, apple caramel bread pudding and spiced apple doughnuts.
The all-day festival runs from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. at 4700 W. Lincoln Ave.
