Divvy Bike Share Coming to Lincoln Square in August

Lincoln Square to Get First Divvy Bike Kiosks
The city's bike share program could appear in the neighborhood as soon as this week. 

Installation for the ward's 22 kiosks will begin in August, said Bill Higgins, the Program Coordinator for Ward 47 Ald. Ameya Pawar. 

In its first three weeks, Chicago residents took 50,000 bike trips for a total of 175,000 miles. On July 20, Divvy was the busiest bike share system in the world, according to a news release from the city.  

By the end of the summer, Divvy plans to install 300 stations with 3,000 bikes in Chicago.
