Events in Chicago: Spooky Zoo and Bulldog 5K

Check out what's going on around Chicago this weekend, from haunted houses to art, it's fun for the whole family.

2012 Spooky Zoo Spectacular, Lincoln Park Zoo
Details: Come one; come all at this family-friendly event that combines animals with Halloween. There’s trick-or-treating, a costume parade and haunted house from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Cost: Free, but parking for more than 30 minutes is $30

Lincoln Square Art Walk, Lincoln Square at Western, Lincoln and Leland avenues
Details: Chicago Artists Month comes to Lincoln Square with more than 200 pieces of art. The walk runs Friday from 5 to 8 p.m., Saturday from 10 to 7 p.m. and Sunday from 12 to 5 p.m.
Cost: Free

District 19 Open House, 850 West Addison
Details: Meet the new 19th District commander for a police district that covers parts of Lake View, North Center, Lincoln Park and Lincoln Square. The open house will feature tours of the police precinct from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday.

Running of the Bulldogs, Lincoln Park Zoo
Details: Proceeds from this fourth annual race, walk and fun run benefit the St. Andrew Chicago's sister parish in Uganda, as well as the athletic programs at the school. The race is at 9 a.m. on Sunday and begins at the Lincoln Park Zoo, south of South Pond, east of South Field House.
Cost: 5K Run/Walk $30; Kids Fun Run $15; Family Cap $85; register here.

Master Chef Season 4 Casting, Le Cordon Bleu 361 West Chestnut
Details: Do you think you’re the best home cook in America? Casting auditions for the fourth season of Master Chef is coming to Chicago on Saturday from 11-6 p.m. See here for more audition information.
