Local Kid-Friendly Businesses in the Running for National Recognition

With some streets thick with strollers on any given afternoon, it’s clear Lincoln Square has become a destination for new parents.

The shift has attracted more family-friendly businesses to the area. Now, those local shops and organizations have a chance to be nationally recognized for their dedication to families.

Red Tricycle, a digital city guide for parents, is knee-deep in its “Totally Awesome Awards.” These honors let parents choose the must-try kid-friendly places and products in each city.

In Chicago, Lincoln Square businesses dominate the nominations.
