Square Roots 2013: Everything You Need to Know

Get ready for one of the largest festivals in Lincoln Square—combining local food, craft beer and global music.

It's time for most rockin', delicious and hops-induced weekend of the year in Lincoln Square. 

The  Square Roots Festival is Friday through Sunday on Lincoln Avenue. In its second year, this celebration combines four stages with 60 musical acts, local food and more than 30 craft beers. 

Residents will see everything from bacon sausage mac and cheese to the Midwest Fiddle Championship.

On Saturday and Sunday, parents can bring the whole family for petting zoo and art tent at the Kids' Zone on the south side of the public parking lot.

Suggested donation is $10 for adults, $5 for seniors and children, or $20 for families. Proceeds go to the Lincoln Square Ravenswood Chamber of Commerce and Old Town School of Folk Music, who organize the event along with Big Buzz Idea Group.
