Basketball camp gives youngsters the chance to learn, create friendships

Boys in grades 3-8 who want to learn the proper techniques and fundamentals of basketball should attend Benedictine University’s Eagle Basketball Camp from 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. on Monday, June 11 through Friday, June 14 in the newly-renovated Dan and Ada Rice Center.

The goal of the Eagle Basketball Camp is to create an entertaining environment for learning the game of basketball. The camp focuses on excellent instruction in the fundamentals of offensive and defensive basketball to make each camper a better basketball player while placing them in a setting where they can develop lasting friendships with their fellow campers and coaches.

The clinics are conducted by Benedictine University men’s basketball coach and Hall of Fame inductee Keith Bunkenburg. Current and former coaches and college athletes serve as staff.
