ComEd Tree And Bush Trimming Began Sept. 7
Trimming will continue this week to "ensure reliable power supply."
ComEd began performing vegetation management activities throughout select areas in the Village the week of September 7th.
Managing the growth of vegetation near overhead electrical wires is important for ensuring reliable power supply, reducing outages during severe storm events, and for the safety of individuals and properties located near wires.

ComEd’s contractor, Davey Resource Group, will be trimming trees and bushes near ComEd power lines along segments of Warrenville Road, Lincoln Avenue, Maple Avenue, Yender Avenue and along the BNSF train tracks between Burlington Avenue and Front Street.
