Electronics and Battery Recycling

from the Village of Lisle

This Saturday, July 16, 2011, residents can drop off unwanted electronics and old household batteries for recycling, free of charge, during the Village's monthly collection event. 

The Village's electronics and battery collection events take place the third Saturday of each month from 9:00 a.m. until noon at 4930 Lincoln Avenue (IL Route 53).  Volunteers and employees from Creative Recycling will unload participants' items to be recycled.

Electronics, such as computer monitors, printers, stereos, microwaves, VCRs, cell phones and TVs can be recycled.  Small household appliances, including blenders, toasters and alarm clocks will also be collected.  Participants can drop-off household batteries (AA, AAA, D, 9-volt batteries, hearing aid batteries, lithium batteries, and camera batteries) as well as printer/toner cartridges.
