from St. Joan of Arc Church
The burial cloth believed to have been used on Jesus’ body is a revered site of pilgrimage in Italy. The shroud reveals the wounds inflicted in his hands, feet, and head, and gives believers cause for reflection and prayer.
The Knights of Columbus at St. Joan of Arc Parish in Lisle are hosting an exhibit on the Shroud. In a full-sized replica of the shroud, observers will see a life size model of Christ and his wounds. Additionally, there are several photos and charts explaining the details and history of this cloth.
