Mayor Joe Broda will be sharing his thoughts and insights from office at the Lisle Heritage Society's October general meeting, scheduled for Oct. 27 at 7:30 p.m. in the Netzlery/Yender House.
Broda will look back 50 to 100 years and explain how decisions made by individuals or groups of people then have affected on us today. Yes, some effects across our history can be positive, neutral, or negative. We know your personal perspective does color how we think a decision effects you and others. But, viewing that decision from another’s perspective can sometimes bring clarity.
After his presentation, Broda has agreed to a question and answer session. Refreshments will be served. Whether or not you agree with all of the effects hopefully ideas and more historical curiosity will be sparked in your mind.
