Man Shot In Leg After Leaving Tavern: Lisle Police Investigating

According to police, the gunshot caused more than a wound. See below.

LISLE, IL — The Lisle Police Department is investigating after a man was shot in the leg Sunday, Dec. 30 in the 4900 block of Main Street. According to police, Lisle officers were called to the area just after 2 a.m. for a report of shots fired, and found a 27-year-old white male that had been shot in the leg. The man told police he just left a local tavern with a friend before he was shot, while his friend wasn't injured, the department said.

According to Lisle police, the victim was taken to a local hospital and was treated for a wound and a broken leg both caused by the gunshot, before being released from the hospital.

Police said detectives are reviewing surveillance videos, speaking with witnesses and ask anyone with information in this case to please contact Detective Loudon at 630-271-4252.
