Ticket Sales Launch For Arboretum Valentine's Day Dinner
As of Tuesday, residents can snag tickets to enjoy Valentine's Dinner at Morton Arboretum. See what's on the menu this year.
LISLE, IL — Ticket sales launch Tuesday for the Morton Arboretum's 2024 Valentine's Day Dinner, which features mouthwatering menus with options for vegetarians and meat eaters alike.
Set for Feb. 9 and Feb. 10 at the arboretum's Gingko Restaurant, the popular event includes wine pairings and live guitar music performed by Jim Perona.
Each year, Gingko's team develops an inventive menu for the Valentine's Day Dinner.

This year's main menu features an appetizer of sushi hearts followed by lemon orzo soup and a toasted goat cheese salad, complete with heart-shaped beets. Diners can then dig into a halibut and cocoa short ribs accompanied by vegetable quinoa and a basil and red pepper cheese rosette.
For dessert, the chef will prepare a dark chocolate panna cotta with raspberries and whipped cream.

Vegetarians can opt for a vegetable pappardelle with pattypan squash and wild mushroom ragu for their entrée.
Arboretum Special Events Manager Jenelle Metcalf told Patch, "This dinner is an annual tradition for many people. We have some who have attended every year, and it's not just couples. We have many groups of friends who enjoy this event as well."
