• Survey finds strong support for WIU President Mindrup (tspr.org) — Western Illinois University employees have given President Kristi Mindrup strong marks for guiding the institution toward a stable, sustainable future, which directly affects the Macomb campus community. Trustees praised her work on finances, enrollment, academics, and saving WIU’s ROTC program, while noting a need for more outreach as she leads development of a new strategic plan.
   

• Western Illinois sets GivingTuesday record with $135K raised (mcdonoughvoice.com) — Western Illinois University supporters helped raise $135,800 on GivingTuesday, boosting programs and scholarships that directly benefit students on WIU’s Macomb and Quad Cities campuses. Challenge gifts, including a $25,000 pledge from President Mindrup, amplified donations for recruitment, retention, and projects like the Trading and Commodities Lab. Donors can still give year-round through the WIU Foundation.
