1 Person Injured After Driver Turns Into Path Of Oncoming Semi: ISP
Police said the driver of a Ford Explorer was taken to the hospital after the crash, which took place on Route 52 near Cherry Hill Road.

MANHATTAN, IL — One person was taken to a local hospital after being involved in a two-vehicle crash on Tuesday morning involving a semi-tractor trailer on Route 52, the Illinois State Police said.
Police said that the driver of a Ford Explorer failed to yield to traffic before making a turn onto Route 52 from Cherry Hill Road around 7:30 a.m. The vehicle was hit by the truck, which was traveling south on Route 52 when the other vehicle made the turn, police said.
Police said that the driver of the Ford Explorer sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to the hospital. The driver of the truck was not injured, police said.

All lanes of traffic were reopened just before 8:20 a.m. Police said they are not releasing any more information about the crash.
