Gun Charge For Florida Man After Traffic Stop: Manhattan PD
The 25-year-old Florida man was stopped in Manhattan June 15, police said.
MANHATTAN, IL — A Florida man pulled over for a commercial vehicle violation in Manhattan June 15 also faces a gun charge, Manhattan police said.
Police Saturday, June 15 stopped Brenton Williams, 25, of Lake Walse, Florida, at US 52 and Bruns Road, according to police reports. Williams was charged with driving on a suspended license.
When arrested, police found Williams in possession of a loaded firearm. He was then also charged with aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, according to police reports.
