Here Are The Bears' Odds To Beat The Packers In NFC Wild Card Game
Chicago faces off with its biggest rival Saturday night as Green Bay travels to Soldier Field for a playoff showdown.
CHICAGO — Despite winning the NFC North and hosting Saturday night's NFC Wild Card game, the Chicago Bears are the underdogs in a playoff showdown with the Green Bay Packers. The contest at Soldier Field marks just the third time two of the league's biggest rivals have ever played one another in the postseason.
The Packers (9-7-1), who finished behind the Bears (11-6) in the division this season, are a 1.5-point favorite on most sportsbooks, which means they must win by at least two points for a spread bet on them to pay out.
The game, airing on Fox 32 locally and Prime Video, kicks off at 7 p.m.

This season, Chicago split two games with Green Bay en route to winning the NFC North for the first time since 2018. On Dec. 7, the Packers defeated the Bears, 28-21, at Lambeau Field. Chicago got revenge two weeks later with a thrilling 22-16 comeback win in overtime at home.

The Bears have a 7-8 record all-time in the playoffs at Soldier Field.
"I think it's a great opportunity in front of our home crowd; can't wait to see what that looks like on Saturday night," said Ben Johnson, who is a strong contender for NFL Coach of the Year after turning a team that finished 5-12 last season into a playoff squad for the first time since 2020.
For two of the league's charter teams, the wild-card round contest will mark the third time the Bears and Packers have faced off in the postseason. Green Bay won the 2010 NFC Championship in Chicago, 21-14. The first playoff meeting between the two came in 1941 when the Bears won the Western Division playoff, 33-14, at Wrigley Field.
Lovers of The Wiener's Circle, the popular hot dog stand in Chicago's Lincoln Park neighborhood, will especially be rooting for a Bears' win. As it did in November after Johnson ripped off his shirt in the locker room following a win over Philadelphia, The Wiener's Circle will be offering free hot dogs after the game based on the results of a poll/questionnaire on X.
