Joliet Man, 37, Charged After Stabbing Incident At Manhattan Home: PD

The incident occurred June 4. The man fled the scene and was located June 21.

MANHATTAN, IL — A Joliet man faces a battery charge after an incident at a Manhattan home earlier this month, according to police reports.

On June 21, police found and arrested Christopher Valentino 37, who was a suspect in a June 4 battery in the 13900 block of Wilderness Lakes Drive.

Valentino is alleged to have stabbed a family member of an individual he was charged with taking care of in the hand. Valentino then fled the scene, according to police reports. He was later found and charged with felony aggravated battery.

Valentino was transported to the Will County Adult Detention Facility pending a detention hearing.
