• Homewood Man, 44, Struck Woman With Gun, Threatened To Kill Her On Way Home From Bears Watch Party: Sheriff (patch.com) — A serious domestic battery case tied to a Bears watch party has moved through the Markham Courthouse, where a 44-year-old Homewood man was ordered into Cook County Jail custody. Authorities say the man allegedly struck a woman with a gun, threatened her life, and blocked her from calling 911 before she sought help near Joe Orr Road and Stoney Island Avenue.
