Founded by Deana Patterson in 2010, DSFIT2RUN emerged from a deeply personal loss — the passing of her mother to breast cancer. Determined to honor her mother’s legacy, Deana launched DSFIT2RUN to educate women on the importance of health and fitness, starting with simple steps like walking. What began as a walking group has since evolved into a powerful, woman-owned 501(c)(3) nonprofit committed to transforming lives through fitness, nutrition, and mindset shifts. DSFIT2RUN empowers women to take charge of their health without extraordinary costs, offering a variety of programs that meet participants at every fitness level.
