Beary Lanscaping Site of Friday Night Fire, Two Trucks Destroyed

Homer Fire Protection District put out a fire that burned two pick up trucks and damaged a third about 10 p.m. April 26 at Beary's Landscaping on 159th Street in Lockport.

At 10:30 p.m. April 26 Patch posted a story based on an emergency alert that said a barn was on fire. Homer Fire Protection District today said the alert that went out was based on what was seen from a distance. From a distance, it looked like the barn in the background was on fire.

When they arrived on the scene, the firefighters doused what was referred to as a minor blaze. 

Brian Beary said in an email, "We are just glad no one was hurt and the Homer firemen did a great job with a rapid response and prevented things from spreading and being much worse."
