Book Sale To Benefit Library Programs
The Friends of the Mokena Library's annual book sale returns Friday and Saturday to the Mokena Community Public Library District.
MOKENA, IL — During the long pandemic lockdown last year, some people may find themselves in need of a restock of their reading material. For those that do, or for those who just want to add more to their own personal library, The Friends of the Mokena Library is scheduled to host its annual fall book sale Friday and Saturday.
The book sale, held at the Mokena Community Public Library District at 11327 195th St., runs from noon to 5 p.m. Friday and from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, according to a news release from Friends of the Mokena Library. Members of the Friends of the Mokena Library get access at 11 a.m. Friday and 9 a.m. Saturday.
The book sale is free to attend and will offer many books for $1 or less. There will also be puzzles, games, DVDs and CDs for sale.

Proceeds from the event go toward funding programs at the Mokena Library.

Masks must be worn by all visitors to the library.
