Brawl At Urban Air In Mokena, Security Guard Punched: Police
A 17-year-old male from Merrillville, Indiana, who hit the security guard was charged with disorderly conduct, police said.
MOKENA, IL — Mokena police charged an 17-year-old male, of Merrillville, Indiana, with disorderly conduct Sunday following a brawl at Urban Air Trampoline and Adventure Park, 19800 S. LaGrange Road in Mokena, according to Mokena Police Interim Chief Brian Benton.
Police responded to a call at approximately 4 p.m. Sunday for a fight involving about 30 people, Benton said. Police learned that the fight started from a "situation" between two juveniles before the parents and/or family members got involved and the situation escalated into the brawl, Benton said.
A security guard was punched during the fighting, Benton said. It wasn't clear if 17-year-old teen who hit the security guard did so intentionally or as a result of the security guard trying to break up the fight, so the teen was charged with disorderly conduct, Benton said.

Police are still investigating the incident, and more charges could be coming after police review video footage of the brawl, Benton said.
