Dance For Discounts, Mental Health Awareness At This Mokena Business
Mokena's Sunkissed Greenz invites the community to shake it off for a discount at The Mental Health Movement Saturday, May 3.

MOKENA, IL — A Mokena business is inviting customers to dance for discounts—and a mood boost—as a nod to Mental Health Awareness Month.
Sunkissed Greenz has planned a judgment-free day of celebration, connection, and awareness at at The Mental Health Movement. Owner Misty Nelson is partnering with Wholistic Wellness of Frankfort and special guest Tiger’s Eye Naturals of New Lenox, for an uplifting event to shine on mental wellness through dance, education, and community engagement.
The event is set for Saturday, May 3, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Sunkissed Greenz, 19121 Wolf Rd., in Mokena.

What to Expect:
- Free mushroom coffee: Touted as a brain-boosting elixir for clarity, mood, and memory.
- Free adult coloring books: A creative outlet for stress relief and mindfulness.

Sunkissed Greenz will also be capturing video clips of attendees dancing, smiling, and celebrating to create a powerful community tribute to mental health awareness. Participation is optional but deeply appreciated, Nelson said.
In 2024, an estimated 57.8 million adults in the U.S. were living with mental illness, yet only 43 percent received care, statistics show.
