I-80 Bridge Work On Wolf Road To Begin July 25: IDOT
The work will require that Wolf Road at the bridge connecting Mokena and Orland Park will be closed through Dec. 1.
MOKENA, IL — Motorists who use Wolf Road to get between Mokena and Orland Park will need to find an alternate route for the next several months because of work on the bridge across Interstate 80.
Work is scheduled to begin July 25 and will continue through Dec. 1, according to the Illinois Department of Transportation. Both the northbound and southbound lanes of Wolf Road will be closed to vehicle and pedestrian traffic between 183rd Street and 187th Street during the bridge work.
A posted detour will direct motorists to 191st Street, LaGrange Road and 179th Street. Motorists should also expect occasional overnight lane closures on I-80 at the bridge during that time, IDOT said.

The bridge deck will remain up while concrete work is performed, and construction equipment will be parked on the bridge during this time.
The $4.7 million project will replace the existing bridge with a new, wider structure, install new storm sewers, resurface the road and add new landscaping, IDOT said.
