Mokena Dad's Christmas Suits Are 'Talk Of The Town'

MOKENA, IL— Father's Day is the perfect time to give a big thanks to all the dads who put smiles on our faces. Mokena, meet Louie.

If you know a dad who sends sweet, silly or thoughtful texts your way, you’re pretty lucky. Texts from Dad have a way of putting a smile on our faces — and this Father’s Day, we’re celebrating the fathers behind the phones!

What makes your dad extra special?

My dad is extra special because he does and knows everything! He is an ice cream shop owner and a DJ. He played in a band and used to be a realtor. We always say he would win Jeopardy if he got picked. He always takes an interest in all his kids and grandkids. He has the best jokes and he’s a rock and roll guy! Anytime I talk about my dad, they always say they have to meet him.

Why do you feel your dad deserves the spotlight?

He has always supported everyone. He is so proud of his family, he has always taken me to Marvel movies (a tradition!) and he has the greatest sense of style! His Christmas suits are always the talk of the town. I recently got into a car accident (a drunk driver hit me) and he was the first person I had to call. He immediately came to my rescue and has been helping me since.
