Students are nominated on actions that show respect, responsibility, honesty, fairness and cooperativeness.
MOKENA, IL — Mokena Elementary School announced its Star Students for September. Those who received the award demonstrated "actions that show respect, taking responsibility, always being honest, remembering to be fair and care, and striving for cooperation," according to a school official.
