Mokena Fire Department Partners With VFW, Food Pantry For Toy Drive

MOKENA, IL — Local families in need will have a brighter holiday season this year thanks to a local toy drive that will provide gifts for local children as part of a collaborative community effort.

The Mokena Fire Department is partnering with the Mokena VFW and Frankfort Township Food Pantry to host the toy drive, which supports local families, organizers announced on Monday.

Unwrapped toys will be accepted starting Monday and will be accepted through Dec. 9, organizers said. Toys can be dropped off between 12 and 6 p.m. Monday through Friday at the Mokena VFW, which is located at 19852 Wolf Rd.
