Mokena Fire Protection District To Host Annual Family Fun Day June 4
The free event is open to all and will feature activities including touch a truck, put out the house fire and more.
MOKENA, IL — The Mokena Fire Protection District's annual Family Fun Day is set to return from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. June 4 at Station No. 1, 19853 S. Wolf Road. Family Fun Day has been an annual event for about the past 15 years, according to the Mokena Fire Protection District.
Planned activities for the free event include:
- Dress the firefighter.
- Play water ball.
- Stop, drop and roll.
- Touch a truck.
- Put out the house fire.
- Free lunch.
- Plus much more.
“It’s an enjoyable time to spend with the family while meeting some of your firefighters," said Mokena Fire Protection District Chief Joseph Cirelli.
