Mokena Junior High Basketball Team Advances To State Tournament
The team will now face Matteson Colin Powell at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 8 at Kingsley Junior High School in Normal.
MOKENA, IL — The Mokena Junior High School seventh grade boys basketball team has advanced to the IESA Class 4A state tournament.
The boys defeated Ottawa 26-21 at sectionals Feb. 5. The team will now face Matteson Colin Powell at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 8 at Kingsley Junior High School in Normal.
Mokena is 22-5 and Matteson is 24-3.
