MOKENA, IL - The eighth grade junior high boys volleyball team defeated Summit Hill in a tough battle (22-25, 25-23, 25-15) to win the Des Plaines Valley Conference Tournament on Thursday October 6th. This is the second year in a row that MJHS has won this tournament. The 6th/7th grade team also did well finishing third.

The tournament was held at Homer Junior High from Tuesday, October 4th through Thursday, October 6th.

The 8th grade team includes:

#4 Payton Didrickson
#5 Hamzah Abuata
#8 Jayden Holba
#11 Zach Trippeer
#21 Braeden Fiore
#32 Will Bettenhausen
#40 Nico DiForti

The team is coached by Mr Tim Holland.
