Mokena Library To Offer Craft Making Opportunities For Kids
The library's weekly craft pickup is back and will be available all summer long.
MOKENA, IL—Looking for something fun to do to keep the kids busy during the summer? Well, if so, the Mokena Public Library has you covered. The library's weekly craft pickup is back and will be available all summer long.
According to the library, its craft bin is located in the staff parking lot, next to Door 4, where libary employees do curbside pickup.
"We will continue to put out a new craft every Saturday and Wednesday morning throughout the summer," library officials said. "We will have them out to the public for pickup during working hours, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. while supplies last each day. No registration is required for these crafts."

Library workers are reminding patrons to practice safe social distancing and touch only the crafts they are going to take. Also, remember to take only one craft per child, ages toddler to third grade.
If you would like to share feedback or photos of your family enjoying the crafts, you can email the children's librarian, Ms. Emily at egrigoletti@mokena.lib.il.us. The library would love to see them.
