Endangered Mokena Man Reported Missing Has Been Located: Police

The Illinois State Police had issued an Endangered Person Alert for Donald Weindorfer, who had seen by his family Saturday afternoon.

MOKENA, IL — An 80-year-old Mokena man who had been reported missing on Christmas Eve has been located, the Illinois State Police reported on Sunday.

The Illinois Police, working with Mokena Police, had issued an endangered person's report for Donald Weindorfer, who was seen by his family at 3:15 p.m. on Christmas Eve and his vehicle, a gray 2014 Nissan Sentra, was spotted on LPR camera northbound on Wolf Road from Route 30 at 6:50pm, police said late Saturday night.

But on Sunday, police said that Weindorfer had been located.
