Mokena Schools Opt For E-Learning, Closure Thursday
With a chance of more snowfall Thursday, some Mokena schools are choosing to do remote learning or closing for the day.
MOKENA, IL — While most of the snowfall is moving out of the area Wednesday evening, there is still a chance for additional snow Thursday In Mokena.
Patch is keeping a list of which schools in Mokena have decided to close or offer remote learning, according to information on the Emergency Closing Center website.

- Mokena School District 159. (E-learning)
- St. Mary Catholic School.
- Noonan Elementary Academy.
Mokena saw 13 inches of snowfall from Tuesday night into Wednesday, according to information from The Weather Channel.
The National Weather Service is predicting up to a half inch of snow Thursday.
