Mokena Splash Park At Yunker Farm Scheduled To Open May 31

MOKENA, IL — The Splash Park at Yunker Farm is scheduled to open May 31 and will be open daily through Aug. 14, according to information on the Mokena Community Park District website.

After Aug. 14, the Splash Park will be open on Saturdays and Sundays only through Sept. 4, according to the park district.

Residents of Mokena ages 1 and older will be charged $1 admission per session; non-residents will be charged $3.

Sessions at the Splash Park run from: noon to 1:30 p.m.; 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.; and from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. An additional session will be on Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., according to the park district.

The Splash Park will not be open if the temperature is below 72 degrees or if there is lightening in the area, according to the park district.

The Splash Park is located at 10824 W. LaPorte Road in Mokena.
