Trustees voted unanimously to approve the hire of Nathan Pasbrig for the role.

MOKENA, IL — The Mokena Village Board of Trustees at a special meeting Monday approved a recommendation to fill the vacant role of finance director.
Trustees voted unanimously in support of Nathan Pasbrig. He will fill the role left vacant when former Finance Director Sharron Dangles resigned in July. She was hired for the position in October 2021.
Pasbrig is a recent Mokena resident who is a certified public account and has 17 years experience as a consultant, Village Administrator John Tomasoski told the board. Pasbrig holds both a Bachelor's and Master's of Science degree in accounting from Governor's State University, Tomasoski said.
