Mokena's St. John's United Church Of Christ To Host Monthly Dinners

The church will host Come To The Table dinners the first Wednesday of each month which allows to bring community members together.

MOKENA, IL — A Mokena church will begin hosting free monthly dinners next month to give local parishioners and residents the chance to enjoy a meal together and engage in meaningful conversations.

St. John’s United Church of Christ, which is located at 11046 2nd St., will begin hosting the Come To The Table dinners on Jan. 4. Dinners will be held on the first Wednesday of every month and will run from 4:30-6:30 p.m. and will be held in the church’s Christian Community Center.

Reservations are required and the deadline for the first dinner will be Dec. 28.
